A bit more background on why. There are generally two reasons you might request a refund for a digital purchase like this.
1) You were unable to play the story due to technical issues
We provide a number of free stories you can use to try out the platform and be sure it will work on the devices you have. If you are purchasing the story for someone else, use one of the free stories as a trial.
That said, the stories work with any reasonably current web browser. If you find an issue with a particular story, let us know through our Support link and we'll fix it.
2) You simply did not like the experience
Again, please use the free stories available to see if you enjoy the sort of interactive experience we offer. If you like the free stories, the paid stories in the same series are similar experiences, although typically longer and more involved.
